MEET CIRRENA TROUTT
“Maintaining a positive outlook on life can be difficult, especially when we’re surrounded by so many unknowns.”
In many areas of our lives, it can feel important to maintain a sense of control. Sometimes this is easier than others and when it’s not easy or feels impossible it becomes difficult to control how we respond or feel about it.
When those challenges come up that’s when I come in.
Over the past two years, I have worked with individuals and families to learn how to better understand there emotions and responses during stressful situations. Using a strengths-based approach, I have worked to help people learn how to put themselves first and develop more emotional intelligence.
I often incorporate Narrative Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my work with clients. In my three years of studying Counseling Psychology at the University of San Francisco, I was able to learn how to use CBT effectively and work to mold it to meet each individual’s needs.
If you would like to find out more about how we can work together to work towards your goals don’t hesitate to reach out.
