MEET LUCY MOORE

“I am here to help you build on your strengths, cultivate resilience, and provide tools for communication and conflict resolution.”

As humans, we operate through connections and relationships. Relationships have the ability to keep us safe, to hurt us, to impart both strength and vulnerability. Whether you are an individual or a partner, newly in a relationship, single or navigating a long-term partnership, sustaining relationships is an essential part of everyday life.

I am here to help you build on your strengths, cultivate resilience, and explore tools for communication and conflict resolution. I am aware and respectful of the dimensions that life has to offer and am here to support you in exploring those dimensions and living an authentic life.

It is my hope that my clients will feel empowered to take on change, safe to explore distressing issues, and secure to unlock and express challenging emotions. My goal is to collaborate with you to create a safe place to heal wounds, promote growth and reduce stress.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, affirmative, person-centered and holistic. I am LGBTQ+, kink, and poly-friendly with specialized training to work with non-binary, transgender, and transitioning folks. I draw from attachment theories, informed by social justice, and I am passionate about helping clients gain awareness around underlying patterns that have an impact on their everyday choices and relationships.

My practice is influenced by current research and training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing and related trauma-focused modalities. I incorporate mindfulness-based practices and support my work with current research in neuroscience.
